Webmaster level: allIt's been a bit more than five years now that our Webmaster Help Forum has been up and running, helping webmasters around the world. Over the years, over tens of thousands of users have discussed various topics in well over 100,000 threads, helping each other to improve their websites and to solve a variety of issues that web publishers are confronted with. Among those users is a group that we call the "Bionic Posters," users who have proven to be consistently helpful and knowledgeable, selflessly helping others to tackle seemingly insurmountable problems.
It's great to have such an awesome community -- but thanks is best said by those who are helped. Here is some of the feedback that we collected this year:
- "Thank you for the time you have spent helping me. It is genuinely appreciated."
- "Thank you to everyone who helped with my problem! My creaky old 1996 era website is all cleaned up and doing just fine now! Good Guys Rule!"

Thanks for the shout-out John
Being a part of the group, and seeing the forum evolve over these past few years has been one heck of a ride, but it's been a more than worthwhile experience. :-)
I'm looking forward to the next five years.
Got to be done ....
Please pay serious attention to the following part peoples...
"...

I have a question here. Why is it that when you type in (link:domain.com) on Google you get outdated information but if you use a mobile to search for (link:domain.com) you get updated results ? What could be causing this and how can it be useful ?
After reading that last comment, I move that the FAQs be renamed the FIAs (Frequently Ignored Answers).
really its good info for all webmasters....good job - Mr Harish Mehta {BOB}
Thank You!

Yes I agree with Bob, if someone just takes time to read the FAQ's it's amazing the amount of answer that you can derive from them. Thanks for pointing me in that direction keep up the great work!
Wonder Masters wonder. Many Thanks and many many appreciations. Amazing the google community Helping, Friendly and knowledgable ( including particularly the Best ' Bionic Posters/Masters').I am much inspired and interested to join ' BIONICs ' after acquireing knowledge. I am new to this Tech and trying to learn. Came across this when searching What-to-do-next after creating a blog in my subject of interest to share. Thanking all the Wonder Masters and their team again With High Regards Plus Best Wishes.
Thank you Google for putting up this help forum, and I am sure I will be a frequent visitor.
Those forums are full of clueless people... you should have more Google representatives reply to the questions and not some guy that still thinks that submitting a site to the search engines is the key to rankings!
The only thing I like about Bing is that you can send them an email and eventually someone will reply, with google is all up to rumors and suggestions but no real, official answers.
I am the recent visitors and I am getting real news which is helped me a lot. Thanks.
Thank you Google... :D
Pretty nice post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed browsing your blog posts. In any case I’ll be subscribing to your feed and I hope you write again soon!
I'm curious about why Google Webmaster Tools in Mountain View,CA is visiting one of my websites. It's hosted by TypePad NOT Google. I've noticed at least two visits - the first took place on 28 February 2012 landing on an unspecified page, the second visit was today landing on an article that I wrote on 2/21/2012.
My website focuses on health and fitness and links to many US government websites and was recently asked by one such agency to promote awareness about a very serious health issue.
Why is Google Webmaster Tools making these stops at my website?
Google Webmaster forums does NOT provide help when people ask for help. Instead many questions either go unanswered or get put down by the "Bionic" contributors, therefore I'm posting my question on this thread because I hope that a Google employee not only reads my question but responds to it.
